How to get Police Clearance for Local Employment in Caloocan City

Well, for starters this is my first time getting a Police Clearance for local employment so I have no idea of what would be the requirements. As per the blog, you would need to bring the following:

• Barangay Clearance
• Recent Cedula
• 100 pesos 

I did follow the instructions in the blog and I was able to secure a barangay clearance but for the cedula I was told to go to the City Hall to get one. I asked the barangay official on duty if I still need to secure a cedula for getting a police clearance but he told me that I can just go straight to the police station to get a clearance. I may not need the barangay clearance after all. Oh well! -_-
So I went ahead and went directly to the Police Station. From Monumento I rode a jeep bound to Sangandaan. According to the driver its near the fire station so I went down on the fire station and turned right on the street next to it.
Outside the police station there is a big tarpaulin that shows you steps on getting your police clearance. The process was faster than I expected. I first filled up an application and then they took samples of my fingerprints. Paid 100 pesos on the cashier then went on another window to pay another 150 pesos for the police clearance and ID. So that's a TOTAL of 250 pesos. After paying they took my picture and double checked the information on my application form and they told me that they will just call my name.
Then after few minutes, I already have my Police Clearance and ID card. Actually, I wasn't expecting that there will be a Police Clearance ID card but I'm glad that there is. I have another valid ID! Yey! :)

The police clearance and ID is only valid for 6 months upon the date issued so I still need to renew it after it expires.

So to sum it up, I think the blog post that I've read was outdated or maybe it's a case to case basis depending on your location. So if you guys need to get a police clearance for LOCAL EMPLOYMENT in CALOOCAN all you just need to bring would be a PEN and 250 PESOS CASH.
